Twanda Denise Addison, DNP, NP

Twanda Denise Addison is a native of Columbia and originally attended the University of South Carolina, in Columbia, SC, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. Twanda later completed her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama and became a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She then returned to the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC to pursue a doctorate in nursing practice; dissertation titled Utilization of the USDA SuperTracker System in High Schools: A Quality Improvement Project. Twanda also completed a Post-Master Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing and became Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Twanda is an active member of several organizations including the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., American Nurses Association, and Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc.
